...a day that will live in infamy...

Truly one of the finest moments of my life (outside of family related things...B). I felt like a proud papa. I was a pleasure celebrating with the team and what makes it even better is I felt like this was "our" year to win. I'm glad Del Piero was with the team and I'm glad the Azzuri pulled off a great triumph. Forza Italia!!

In case you're wondering...

Here's the process to achieve beerdom. Posted by Picasa

New Tat

This is newly inked on my right upper arm. Don't know what GAL. 2:20 means? Look it up. Posted by Picasa

On the midnight train to Munich

Learn German in a few hours...no problem with the Jiffy Phrasebook. By the way, DT is the way to go if you get the chance. It's a fav! Posted by Picasa

Independence Day

Center City Brussells during the Belgian Independence Day. Dang...he's drinking again. Posted by Picasa

My one and only European Football experience

This is me at a Feyenoord football match. My good friends work for Aon and were able to acquire suite tickets. It was, without a doubt, the best way to watch a game. Hopefully, I'll get another opportunity someday! Posted by Picasa

House guest

This is one of the "many" house (actually yard) guests I've had over lately. Not the best picture but, not bad for the late afternoon. The parents and another bird were sitting close by. Posted by Picasa

PLUMES - An Awesome Coffee House

This is the BEST coffee house I've ever visited. It's located in downtown Monterey, CA at 400 Alvarado Street (on the corner). They drip each cup individually for a perfect fresh taste. See the guy waiting for his cup? Why can't we get a shop like this in Charlotte? Posted by Picasa

Oktoberfest

Check this out! All I can say is wow. Go if you get the chance. Here's to the upcoming celebration.

Interesting sign at a jobsite

Check out this sign...especially the bottom left side. "Specifically authorized..." Are you serious? It must be nice.

SBIR has arrived...

Late yesterday, I received the final paperwork for my SBIR. I'm quite excited to be working on chlorinated solvents research, especially stable isotopes as they relate to those solvents. More info to come as I continue learning!
