Oktoberfest

Check this out! All I can say is wow. Go if you get the chance. Here's to the upcoming celebration.

Interesting sign at a jobsite

Check out this sign...especially the bottom left side. "Specifically authorized..." Are you serious? It must be nice.

SBIR has arrived...

Late yesterday, I received the final paperwork for my SBIR. I'm quite excited to be working on chlorinated solvents research, especially stable isotopes as they relate to those solvents. More info to come as I continue learning!

INES 8102 Class Project

Our class project involves Hatteras Island, NC. Located off the eastern coast of NC, Hatteras Island is the easternmost barrier island of the NC Outer Banks (OBX).

INES...

I started my Ph.D. program last week. Classes are actually beginning to require work now. Our class project (involving the "Bonner Bridge" on Hatteras Island, NC) is very interesting and certainly applicable to what I do at work.

My latest book...

Ok. So, I'm reading a new book titled, "Uncommon Dissent: Intellectuals who find Darwinism Unconvincing" by William A. Dembski (Editor). Can you say...eye-opening. I think I'll have to adjust my whole perspective on existence and reason.

Champions League

Looking forward to watching the AC Milan v. Liverpool game. I believe AC will be the better of the two. Hopefully it won't end in a 0-0 or 0-1. I want goals!

My First Post...

Well...here goes nothing...literally, at this point. What should I do with this thing? Huh?
